It will never be on November 29th. It can only be on November 22-28. The reason is that since it must be on the 4th Thursday, and a week has 7 day, the 29 would be the 5th Thursday even if the month had that many days.
Thanksgiving fell on November 29 in 1866, 1877, 1883, 1888, 1894, 1900, 1906, 1917, 1923, 1928 and 1934. It has not fallen on November 29 since 1934 because the date of Thanksgiving was changed from the last Thursday of November to the second-to-last Thursday of November for 1939-1941 then to the fourth Thursday of November as of 1942. Therefore, since 1942, Thanksgiving Day is never later than November 28.
No, because Thanksgiving is on the fourth Thursday of November, the last day of the month that it can be on is November 28th.
no unless people change the calender in the future
