It depends on what the details are. If you have no felonies or misdemeanors on your record, you should be able to buy a handgun. If you were arrested for something but never convicted, or if the charges were dropped, you can buy a handgun legally.

Added: The questioner doesn't reveal in the question if they were arrested for a felony offense or not. If they were, they would not be able to legally possess a firearm until the case was adjudicated one way or the other.
It depends on why you were arrested. More specifically, it depends on whether you were convicted of a crime, and what you were convicted of. Most misdemeanors will not disqualify you from owning a firearm, but any any felony will.
Just like anywhere else, 18 for a Title 1 long gun, 21 for a handgun and NFA restricted items, clean criminal record - no felony convictions, no convictions for domestic violence (misdemeanor or felony), no record of having been adjudicated mentally defective, no dishonorable discharges from the military.
If you have a pending felony case, no. If you've been convicted of a felony, no. If you've been acquitted of a felony, then you can.
If you have been indicted for a crime that is a felony, no.
not sure
You will need to hire a lawyer for a current, legal and correct answer. Need more info...Was it a felony? If it was forget about it, Or a violent misd, Or a domestic violence charge (even a misd) counts you out...Sorry
as long as you have not been charged with a felony or a domestic abuse, then yes
I have recently been arrested for CDV and it was not filed as a felony. It depends on how the police and judge see it.
Arrested? Yes. Convicted? Not if the assault was a felony, or against a domestic partner.
Only if the person's rights have been restored.
The same ones which prevent it under federal law - age restrictions, felony convictions, having been adjudicated mentally defective, dishonorable discharge from the military, domestic violence convictions (whether felony or misdemeanor).
been in prison If you have any felony convictions you cannot sell guns!
