If he has a GF, stay in the friend zone for now. Gain his trust. Depending on how old you are, he most likely isn't going to marry this girl so gain his trust for now so he can cry on your shoulder (therroreticly. if he acually cries over her, he's either a wimp or totally comitted to his GF. neither of wich i think you want to waste your time on.) This will totally bond you two. After he is done greiving over her, casually say something like "Wouldn't it be crazy if we were still going out?" You'll know if he takes the hint. If he just kidds around, though, he's not interested. If he doesn't want to get back together, hey at least you made a new friend!
