Risks could be many, you need to camp and hike for many days without a shower! It can be expensive, you will need the correct clothing. You will need to be fit, more than 50% of those that try, fail. You will suffer from Acute Mountain Sickness. You might get Acute Pulmonary Edema or High Altitude Cerebral Edema. The guides are well trained to spot any illness. This is not a rock climbing experience, just walking 7 hours a day uphill, so you will need to be fit. Stamina is required. People reaching the top stay for a few minutes and descend, oxygen is scarce! Dont forget it is 6000 meters high, 1500/2000 meters a day is enough for people from sea level. You will need determination. And when you reach the summit you will find that it was all well worth it. The minimum age limit for trekking here is 10 years old. The oldest was 93
