I had a similar problem but it was when I took my foot off the accelerator. It had a loose side to side movement in the rear that gave it a scarey steering issues. My mechanic found out that it wasn't the rubber mounts but a wear on the rear spindle. Hope this narrows your search if you hadn't already fixed it.
