Usually you start by dropping one feeding a week. Start with the one the baby cares least about. I would try the afternoon or evening session. I would like to know how interested you baby is in breastfeeding? or are they enjoying the bonding time?
I assume they are eating plenty of normal table food... this will help the transition
Good luck :-) and check out: http://www.breastfeeding-bff.com/weaning.html for more info.
yes twice
As your baby nurses, your breasts will refill. You will need to wean your baby from breastfeeding. This means tapering off, not stopping cold turkey. As the "demand" for breast milk decreases, so will the production of milk decrease.
Any drug effects your breast milk. Knock it off if you are using and breast feeding. This will effect your baby all of his/her life.
Typically, a baby is fed about 15 minutes on each breast 4 to 6 times a day. The baby should be fed exclusively breast milk for the first year of its' life. For the best interest of the child, continue breast feeding until the child is 2 or 3 years old.
Antibodies - to help the baby fight off infections.
If your breast feeding, you may not get it back till you stop breastfeeding. I breast fed 2 of my children for about 2 years and mine came back when they were about 8 months when I started to feed the baby solids and they took less breast milk. However, if you are not breastfeeding I believe it is about 6 weeks.
Will your breast implants sag after having a baby
Your breast, by breast feeding! Der
Your baby will get antibodies from breastfeeding throughout the time you are breastfeeding and for 2-3 months after weaning.
No you can not breast feed your baby
If the baby cries whilst feeding it could be the fact the baby's airway is being blocked by your breast. Press on your breast a little to make sure the baby's nose is not being covered by your breast. If you are uptight the baby can sense this too. So make yourself comfortable prior to feeding, and relax at all costs.
