This sounds more like an excuse from your boyfriend more than anything. If he truly, and I mean this genuinely, truly loves you and cares for you, he will help you get through the hard and light times. In this case, with the excuse theory aside, show him that you have changed. If it is drug related, don't do drugs. If you have changed to someone else that he doesn't like, try to stay the way you once were. Show him you love him enough to change for him, and in this case. Love isn't mutual as your love > his. Love creates an "us" without destroying a "me"..........in other words you can't just change who you are just to satisfy someone love is love if he doesnt like it then o well.....................
