Well, what noise is it making? There's lots of "funny" noises which trucks can make. If you're not sure, take it to a mechanic and have them give it a once over.

Buy or borrow an engine code scanner and see what's wrong. It may not solve all of the problems but at least it will give you an idea of some of the difficulties that the computer detects.
