- You have the control over whether you should go back to your ex boyfriend or stay with the young man that loves you (you must love you present boyfriend or you would hopefully not be with him.) Many ex boyfriends have not treated their ex girlfriends with the respect they deserve or, the ex boyfriend may have difficulties committing to one girlfriend and may cheat or the two constantly argue and they end up breaking up. Once the young woman moves on and falls in love with another young man then many ex boyfriends want what they can't have (they cannot stand the thought of their ex girlfriend having a new boyfriend and it is out of possession of her; jealousy and generally not about love) and complicates her life by telling her he loves her. You have to think back to why you broke up with your ex boyfriend and decide if he really is worth having a relationship with. Be very careful because if you break up with your present boyfriend to go back to your ex boyfriend you may well have lost a great guy in your present boyfriend.
