The Bible is vague on this, but for centuries, certain Christian faiths treated suicide as a sin and some religious people believed it would disqualify you from going to Heaven. However, these days, many Christian clergy are more tolerant and understanding, and not everyone agrees that a person who committed suicide will be prevented from entering Heaven. Further, science has demonstrated conclusively that severe depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, and the person who feels suicidal is suffering from an illness, rather committing a sin.
So, first, if you feel suicidal, we hope you will contact a suicide prevention hotline or see a doctor; your condition is treatable and your life really is worth saving. But second, the Bible says that God is loving and forgiving, so it is up to Him (not us) who goes to Heaven and who does not. I doubt a good person who made a fatal decision while in the grip of depression would be barred from Heaven.

The christian life is better because if you are a christian you have a better chance of going to heaven to have eternal life with god. if you are a christian it means you believe that gods one and only son, Jesus, came from heaven down to earth to die on the cross at Easter time. he died for us to take away our sinful nature. however, we are not out of the clear there. to go to heaven and have eternal life with god we must BELIEVE that Jesus died for our sins.
