Making The Bracelet

The first step is to measure the string to make sure that it will fit the friend's wrist. If the bracelet is going to be a gift, people can use their own wrist to make an estimate of how long they should cut the string. They want to cut the string about four inches longer than the actual size of the wrist, so that they can tie it together when they are completely done making the bracelet.
