Once your resume is updated, it is time to start applying for jobs. Because the economy is not the best right now, you have to remain open-minded about your job. Apply anywhere and everywhere because you never know which place could use you. Even if a job sounds horrible, it is still better than no job at all, so you have to apply there too. It also helps to reach out to friends and family who currently have jobs, as they can put in a good word for you with their boss and co-workers and may know of some good companies that are hiring.
