Chinese art or also known as gou hua (Chinese term meaning βnational paintingβ) is visual art that originated in or is practiced in China, Greater China or by Chinese artist. Chinese art strives to achieve the value of the soul and deep connection. One of its standout features is the degree to which it represents the social system that has come into existence in Chinese culture at various periods.
China is best known for spectacular ceramics, pottery, bronze castings, calligraphy, painting and jade. Chinese art was primarily made for either utilitarian or spiritual process, that why the Chinese arts is very precious for the Chinese people.
