Oh, what a delightful puzzle we have here! Let's gently mix those letters around, like happy little clouds in the sky. Ah, I see it now - the word "advertir," which means "to warn" or "to notice" in Spanish. Just like painting a beautiful landscape, sometimes all it takes is a little patience and a fresh perspective to reveal the hidden beauty within.

Not sure due to the translation issue that may be in play here:

Kitsch Combo is a group that has produced some recordings. They play jazz and Latin music. I can't tell if they use an ukulele in their music or not.

Ukulele ala kitschy combo - would refer to playing the ukulele in a kitschy or low class manner without any sophistication, which is usually the way the uke is played.

"Why does [Octavio Paz] begin and end his poem Piedra de Sol (Sunstone) with the same lines?" Wow! What beautiful writing. He is interested in history and politics, and he uses a lot of erotic imagery. Not only does he end with the same lines as in the opening, but he ends the poem with a colon [:] and not a period, unless this version contains a typographical error. Why would a poet do this? It seems sure that he is emphasizing the cyclic nature of life and relationships, and at the same time that something else is coming. Is it the same cycle over again, or something new? Maybe you can find hints in the poem itself. I tend to think he is awaiting something new.

Show and Tell' is an activity that is often used in elementary school classrooms. One good show and tell item that starts with the letter L would be a pretty leaf that a child found. Other items that starts with the letter L and that would be appropriate for show and tell would be a letter that the child had received in the mail or a stuffed animal of a lion or a lamb.

There are hundreds of stem changing verbs in Spanish. But some of them are:

  • pensar (to think)
  • pedir (to ask for)
  • servir (to serve)
  • querer (to want)
  • advertir (to warn)
  • ascender (to go up)
  • atravesar (to go through, to cross)
  • cerrar (to close)
  • comenzar (to begin, to start)
  • mentir (to lie)
  • perder (to lose)
  • entender (to understand)
  • preferir (to prefer).

Again these are just a tiny little fraction, but they are very useful.

The ideals of the Sikh faith advise the devotee to rise early in the morning and meditate on God. Meditation, known as naam jap or naam simran, is usually done while sitting comfortably, cross-legged, on the floor.Nitnem is a set of morning, evening, and bedtime prayers which are read or recited daily, while sitting or standing. Sikhs normally do not say prayers while kneeling as Christians or Catholics do. Some Sikhs occasionally use prayer beads, called a mala, to help with concentration.Extended prayer may take the form of Sejh, Sidharan or Akhand Paath, either intermittent or unbroken reading of the complete Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh scripture. A formal prayer of supplication, called Ardas, is offered while standing. Prayer and meditation focuses on praising God, and may take the form of singing as in kirtan. Sikhs believe prayer and meditation to be essential in attaining desirable qualities and overcoming ego. Sikh scripture counsels that each breath is an opportunity for prayer.

Guru Arjun wrote: "Twenty-four hours a day, O Nanak, meditate on the Guru, the path to enlightenment."
