Decimals and Fractions are simply methods to display parts of a whole number. They are crucial for many questions and can be converted from form to form. Tenths is the starting point in decimals and is the closest to the decimal dot with the larger units of measurements following it.Fractions however are represented by a unique line that looks similar to this: " / "Under the dash is the denominator. The denominator is the number that indicates how many parts have been divided from that integer (whole number). E.g: " /2 " would mean that number has been divided into 2 parts.The top though is used to display how many on those denominators you actually obsess.
