SHTTP means Secure Hypertext Transmission Protocol (aka Secure-HTTP).

SHTTP is an extended version of HTTP providing security through encryption. SHTTP encrypts data transfers, but does not authenticate the client. The responsibility for authentication remains with the website (i.e. the responsibility for determining whether the visitor should be shown the information in the first place).

FTTP means Fiber to the Premises. This term is used in several contexts: as a blanket term for both FTTH and FTTB, or where the fiber network includes both homes and small businesses.

Fiber to the x (FTTx) is a generic term for any broadband network architecture that uses optical fiber to replace all or part of the usual metal local loop used for last mile telecommunications. The generic term originated as a generalization of several configurations of fiber deployment (FTTN, FTTC, FTTB, FTTH...), all starting by FTT but differentiated by the last letter, which is substituted by an x in the generalization.

Fiber Optic Patch Cord is used to interconnect Transmission equipment to the Fiber optic patch panel.

SAILING is a professional manufacturer of Fiber Optic Patch Cord in China. The Patch Cord made by SAILING supports longer distance with lower loss for gigabit Ethernet, fiber channel, infiniband ATM, and internet protocol applications, and it is Specifically designed for use with today's narrower aperture components. The patented injection molding process provides each connection greater durability in resisting pulls, strains and impacts from cabling installs. On the other hand, each cable is 100% optically inspected and tested for insertion loss before you receive it, and a pull-proof jacket design surrounds the popular 50/125 multimode fiber, immune to electrical interference

Applications:

Telecom and Datacom

Storage Network

CATV $ Multimedia Application

Systems Integration for Long Haul, Metro and Access Network

Optical fibres can carry information coded in light or infrared signals. Optical fibres can carry more information than an ordinary cable of the same diameter.

Analogue signals vary continuously in amplitude, frequency or both. Digital signals are a series of pulses with two states - on or off. Digital signals carry more information per second than analogue signals, and they maintain their quality better over long distances.
