i think they are against the law in the UK here is a link
showing the trouble you can get into by having such a weapon on
your person......
http://www.sentencing-guidelines.gov.uk/docs/sentencing_guidelines_knife_crime.pdf
That depends,
It is legal to own Knuckledusters, Brass Knuckles, Knuckleduster
Trench Knives, Flick Knives, Butterfly Knives (Bali song), Samurai
Swords and the like. Provided you do not take them outside your own
property or property of which you are the lawful occupier.
e.g. You can legally have them in your front garden in full view
of the police or anyone else.
It is however a serious offence to have such a thing in your
possession in a public place or to import, manufacture or offer
them for sale.
The sentencing guidelines relate to possession in a public place
without good reason. (or possession with intent which need not be
in a public place).
Of course since the import, manufacture or sale is prohibited it
would be a little difficult to claim a good reason for having them
in your possession in a Public Place.
