The falls were naed after Queen Victoria by Livingstone in 1885,
yet the Victoria Falls have far greater importance to the local
Kololo people who refer to the sight as "Mosi-oa-Tunya"-"The Smoke
that Thunders". Located on the Zambezi River, bordering Zambia and
Zimbabwe, the Victoria Falls are a truly grand sight.
