Graduation speech of the preschool valedictorian?

To our honored guest speaker ___; our School TIC ___, Administrators, our dear parents, my fellow graduates, friends, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon to all of you!

March 18, 2013. I think we will all agree that this day is definitely not ordinary. Today, we acknowledge the people met, the lessons learned, the tears shed, the laughter relished, and the memories made in our six years as elementary students. Today, we show our teachers, our parents, and most importantly ourselves that we're no longer children. Today we show the world that we are ready to take on the next stage of our academic life: High School.

I'm very honored to stand before all of you today as the Valedictorian of Class 2013, not only because of the awards that I have garnered but more so because I'm part of a truly outstanding batch - a batch that has achieved so much, a batch where everyone is talented in different fields. With this, let me thank some of the people who have made my achievements possible. I might not be able to mention all of you by name, but rest assured that I'm infinitely grateful to everyone who has put me on this stage today.

I would like to thank God first and foremost. Without Him, none of these would have been possible. To all the teachers I have had in my life, thank you for guiding me while I was still adjusting to a new environment and giving me inspiration when I needed it most.. All of you have contributed to who I am today, and although I am far from perfect, I believe that I'm a much better person than the person I would have been had I not met all of you.

Now, to those who I owe the greatest thanks of all, my mama, papa, grandparents and my brothers, you were always there for me when I felt like I wanted to give up. You always have a way to put a smile on my face and you instill lessons in my head that continuously develop me into a fine young man. Thank you for supporting me morally and financially and most of all, thank you for bringing me into this world. All of my achievements are not only mine, but also theirs, because without their hard work and encouragement, I would not be standing here and speaking to all of you today. Thank you, dear parents, for letting me be, but always under your supervision and guidance. Thank you for giving me the opportunities to explore and to discover my full potential, not only inside but also outside the four walls of Macagoco Elementary School.

To my closest friends and classmates, thank you very much for giving me one of the most unforgettable moments of my life, for making the sacrifices worthwhile, for making every school day a party, for sharing your lunch with me, for being supportive, for caring, and for the love. It has been an honor to get to know all of you. And to the rest of my batch mates and friends, thank you for making my six-year stay at Macagoco Elementary School a memorable one.

Lastly, enjoying something that you do makes achieving things effortless. Sometimes it pays not to worry so much about where you ranked but rather think about the joy you get with what you do. I know that everyone feels extremely happy and our parents are proud that we are able to secure a diploma after all these years. Always aim for excellence. Even if you enjoy what you're doing, the hardships will still be present. I know a lot who strive hard for success and a lot as well who, unfortunately, just settle for mediocrity. Now, I would like to challenge you to push yourselves harder and always aim higher because in doing so, you will be successful.

Batch 2013, let us blaze a trail and make a difference!

Thank you all, and congratulations!

I am proud to be your son/daughter on this happy day. Thank you for all the times you have pushed me in the right direction and held me back from making mistakes. I love you.

I want you to know that you are the significant persons behind every success that I have. You are my angels who brought me here, who brought me this far.

With that, I am always thankful to God. Fellow students we must be thankful to God that despite our imperfections He has given us parents who would care, love and understand us. Together let us shout: "I love my parents and I'm proud of them!"

First of all on behalf of the entire batch of 2012, I would like to welcome you to the graduation ceremony of the class of 2012 of the JFK Prep School. I would like to thank (and I am sure my classmates join me in this), our parents, teacher, friends, and family for the guidance they have given us and the patience they have shown in teaching us things that we will take with us as we step into the big bad world (as all adults like to fondly call it).

As I stand here, sure and unsure in equal measure, the one image that seems to constantly flash in front of my eyes, is my first day at JFK Prep. Having transferred to this school in the middle of the school year I had prepared myself to sit alone for all lunch hours in the future. After all we are all wary of the new kid in school! But little did I know that I couldn't have been further away from the truth. Sure, I spent the first few hours absolutely miserable but then I had that class where things changed. Thank you Mr. Vonnegut, for suspending us from class because that is the reason I made my first friends here. But jokes apart. I came here a shy, introverted person unsure of what I wanted from life and today as I leave, I have in my hand an admission letter to one of the most prestigious schools in the country, looking forward to a career in the arts. If I even for a second believed that I did this on my own I would be fooling myself. I think I speak for all of us when I say that without the support of the faculty at JFK Prep, many of us would have been floundering in self-doubt and meandering without reason. So thank you. Before I let my emotion sweep me away I would like to tell all my classmates who are sitting here with a square piece of cardboard on their head just one little thing. Thank you for all the memories. The fights, the team efforts, the assignments, the laughter, the tears, the prom, the photos; all of them. I don't think I would exchange it for anything else in the world. Oh and yeah! In the words of Mary Schmich whom we are all familiar with, thanks to Mr. Vonnegut once again, Wear sunscreen.

What is a sample of a welcome address in a preschool graduation?

The best answer to this would be to keep the speech relatively simple as the children will be quite young and it is important to hold their attention. Start by introducing yourself, briefly stating why you have been asked to give a talk, state the plan of action, what they will be doing afterwards and ask if anyone has any questions before moving onto the task or main body of the talk. Ask questions to engage the children in the subject and to keep them entertained.
