certain exercises (particularly anaerobic exercises) to reduce fat
in a specific area is either lying (if they're trying to sell you
something, for instance on late-night TV) or mistaken about human
physiology. Reducing your calorie intake and increasing aerobic
exercise is the best, time-honored way to get rid of fat. If you
want a shapelier butt, you can build the muscle in your glutes, but
your hips are also mostly genetic.
