Young children are attracted to mud, like flies are attracted to honey. Luckily, if your kids have Crocs, this is really not a problem anymore. These brightly colored kids’ shoes have radically transformed children’s fashion, and muddy days, since their introduction in 2002.

Since the dawn of time, children have waded blithely into the mud with no concern for their mother’s mental health or shoe budget. Haggard mothers had to spend hours trying to get the mud out of their children’s play shoes, which depending on the material, could be difficult to impossible.

And then Crocs arrived on the market to save the day. Crocs are made of a light, flexible, comfortable, non-marking, waterproof, odor-resistant material. In addition to these fine qualities, the material is extremely easy to clean. The clean-up process generally consists of nothing more than hosing off the shoes or running them under the faucet.

Crocs have mutated over the years to include many styles in addition to the classic clog shape with the trademark holes covering the top of the shoe. Crocs are available for men, women, and children, and are beloved by many because durable, comfortable materials. The classic croc has an ankle band that can be folded forward to wear the Croc as a clog, or worn behind the heel for a more secure fit.

For a day at the beach, Crocs are the ideal kid’s shoe. Crocs can be worn into the water, and are perfect for wearing on the beach since the sand shakes right out of the holes. They dry quickly and even float should the tide come in unexpectedly. Likewise for visits to the pool or on boating trips, Crocs can’t be beat.

Crocs are versatile, in that they can be worn with or without socks, which makes them more practical than a standard sandal which can only be used in warm weather. The Crocs material is odor-resistant, so going sockless will not cause the shoes to become smelly over time, as can happen with other slip-on style shoes that are worn sockless.

The bright colors in the Crocs palette work well with both boys’ and girls’ fashions, and many children use Crocs as their go-to school shoe since they are very comfortable for all-day wear.

No, it's just up to you and what's comfortable, with this shoes you can also wear an usually banned color like white and light coloured socks. Though when in shorts, you better stick to ankle socks, with which apply the same color rule you follow with long pants, so you can still wear white socks unlike when you wear loafers.

Shoeless Joe begins with the narrator, Ray Kinsella, a young farmer in Iowa, describing how one day when sitting on the verandah of his home, he heard the voice of a ballpark announcer saying, "If you build it, he will come." Ray, who is a highly imaginative man and great lover of baseball, takes this as an instruction to build a baseball field in one of the cornfields at his farm. At first, he builds only a left field. Ray believes that the "he" that the voice refers to is Shoeless Joe Jackson, who gained no-toriety for his part in a bribery scandal that marred the 1919 World Series.

One night, baseball players appear on the field, including Shoeless Joe in left field, and Ray settles down to watch him play. In Ray's eyes, the scene is as complete as at any major-league park he has visited. But he notices that Shoeless Joe is the only player who appears to have any substance; the others are shadowy, ghost-like. Ray talks to Shoeless Joe, who tells him about his love of baseball, and Ray promises that he will finish the whole field.
