A foregone conclusion refers to an outcome that is anticipated or expected to happen based on the circumstances or evidence available. It suggests that the result is already determined or inevitable before it actually occurs.

It means that you knew the outcome before you wer aquanted with
the paticular crcumstance. For example If some one was to fall out
of an air plaine it would go without saying that you would be dead
as soon as you hit the ground. This could be discribed as a
foregone conclusion.
