A complete history in short, abbreviated form of the case as found in the record.
Its purpose is “to bring before the appellate court in abbreviated form an accurate and authentic history of all the proceedings in the case as they were had in the course of the trial below.” 164 S.W. 2d 201, 207. “It would have to be complete enough to show that the questions presented for review [by the appellate court] have been properly preserved in the case.” 231 S.W. 70.
