The amount of carbon emissions released by an air conditioner varies depending on factors like the type of fuel source or electricity used to power it. On average, an air conditioner can release around 1-2 tons of carbon dioxide per year if powered by fossil fuels. To reduce carbon emissions, using energy-efficient models and renewable energy sources is recommended.

The air conditioner stinks when the coils gather dust and make water (condensate) and it becomes mold. what you should do is to change your furnace filter and clean it then spray the coils down with a weak bleach solution. You can use a wet-dry to vacuum the wet dust.

Make sure that there is no cover on the unit outside, check the AIR filter. Make sure it is clean, then go to the thermostat and turn it to cool, fan on auto and turn it down.

I'm sorry to hear that your air conditioner is still blowing hot air even after adding freon. While low refrigerant (freon) levels can indeed cause this issue, there might be other factors at play, such as a leak in the system or a malfunctioning component. It's a good idea to have a professional HVAC technician inspect and diagnose the problem to ensure your AC is working efficiently and providing cool, comfortable air. Stay cool!

Moving air of any kind helps a computer cool more effectively. Having a air conditioner blow directly at the computer will make it operate at cooler temperatures. Cooler temperatures will extend the computers life. Other benefits are the A/C removes moisture from the air and has a filter that would help reduce dust.
Don't have the air so cold that condensation will form inside the computer. That would be bad.

The Temperature Control Module is located at the center of the instrument panel......

Check the following items.........
1. Vacuum leak/leaks.
2. Switch.
3. Controller.

The first thing to check is that the outside unit is running. That the compressor and the Fan is running. If they are running, then have the Freon pressure in the system checked. You may be low on coolant.

Your dealer can tell you if there is a complimentary repair for this. Sounds like it has a leak and is low of refrigerant.

All that you need to do is unclog the a/c drain tube that is located on the passengers side..

First check to see if the system has freon in it and if not then you have a leak but if it does then you will need to check the electrical for the a/c system.......

Then get it fixed. There's a multitude of reasons why an AC won't blow cool air, and you've given us absolutely nothing to narrow down the cause. If you don't know how to troubleshoot the system, well, now you see why AC work isn't a "do it yourself" thing.

on my 2004 tracker this was caused by a bad relay on the right side inner fender under the hood

You have only two this that can cause this and you need to first check to see if there is any freon in the system and if so then check the a/c electrical system..........

All the fuses are by your left knee, inside a little panel that looks like an ashtray door. Pull it off, and voila... FUSES!
1 answer
No, you don't. Your AC's inside unit contains the evaporator coil that cools the warm air blown over it. This causes condensation to form on the coil, just like how water droplets form on a cold glass of water on a hot day.

Check the plug that comes from the fan. They have been known to unplug or just go bad. It is located under the dash on the passenger side. Turn on air cond. Fan then wiggle the plug and see if it comes on.

Could be the compressor is on it's way out. Consider having it looked at real soon because as the compressor is about to self destruct it will fill the system with trash making it more expensive to restore.
1 answer
It is normal for it to cycle on and off. If, however it is cycling on and off rapidly then your system has a leak and is low of refrigerant. Have the leak repaired and the system recharged by a professional.

repace the fan belt that drives the a/c unit. If it doesn't fix it, it's the a/c pump. Very costly. Live with the noise.

Check all of the following.................

2. Pressure switches and relays.

If the air conditioner is not new it could have stopped blowing cold air or won't turn off because of several different things, too many to list here. Here are couple of possible reasons: someone else turned the temperature control to a lower temperature than it can cool the air in the room down to? All the refrigerant gas has leaked away or a compressor pump has stopped working but the main fan is still running? If you can't get it to work properly just by turning the temperature control to a higher temperature then the best advice anyone can give you is to call a licensed Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technician - who will have all the right tools and test equipment and will know how to use it - to test your air conditioning unit and fix it for you.

If you have a heat pump and the breaker blows in heat cycle then you probably also have auxiliary electric heat which is drawing too much current because of a faulty heater element.

Not knowing what vehicle you have, many vehicles use a vacuum supplied by the engine to operate the different positions for the air to come out. When the vacuum is absent the system defaults to the defrost mode. I would check the vacuum supply hose starting at the engine for cracks, damage and disconnection.

OK, Check what you can (breaker, fuses, does the indoor unit run? does the compressor relay which is powered from the indoor unit pull in?) and repost with more specific info then maybe someone can help. Help us out little.

Its actually inductive, because the energy being used is to turn motors. Motor are an inductive load, so the end load is reactive. Do your own research so you will know how to apply it someday.

Here are the options :
1. Check your filter. If it is dirty and clogged, it might be freezing the compressor and also stopping the cold air to flow smoothly to the outlets. As a result, you may not feel cool air from your outlet. Changing the filter will solve your problem.
2. The freon gas may not be sufficient in the compressor to cool the air. This may happen if your unit is many years old, or there is some leakage in your house of the cold air. Contact a professional to fill up the right type of freon gas. There should be temperature difference of 20 degrees Fahrenheit, if there is sufficient freon in the compressor.
1 answer
Could be a bad high pressure switch. Low on antifreeze causing it to run slightly hot. Drive down the road about 45 miles per hour with your hand over a vent. If the temperature of the air fluctuates up and down then you are probably low of freon.
