Which dynasty?

Morocco has been founded and re-founded several times. The first such founding was by the Idrissids who ruled from 788 C.E. - 974 C.E.

The current Alaouite Dynasty came to power in 1631 and has ruled continuously since then. However from 1912-1956, central Morocco was a French Protectorate. The French allowed the Kings to continue in power, but as a secondary authority to their own. It was only King Mohammed V who reclaimed Moroccan Independence in 1956.
