Alfred Beit (January 19, 1903 - May 12, 1994) succeeded Herbert Romeril as the fifth Member of Parliament for St Pancras South East, serving between 1931 and 1945. Following the end of Beit's term as Member of Parliament for St Pancras South East, Santo Jeger (May 20, 1898 - September 24, 1953) became the sixth Member of Parliament for St Pancras South East, serving between 1945 and 1950.
