Amarok is a mythological wolf in Inuit legend. It is also used
as a name for two rock bands and an album by Mike Olfield. Amarok,
formerly "amaroK" is also the name of an open-source software media
player for Linux, Macintosh, and (through KDE on Windows) Windows
operating systems.

audio file." Just as in Windows, there are a large variety of media
players to choose from. These include Amarok, Rhythmbox, Juk, VLC,
MPlayer, Banshee, and Audacious.
