(b Ramat-Gan, 13 Jan 1936). Israeli composer. He studied with Ben-Haim (1956-60) and at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center. His works, using Near Eastern elements, include choral and orchestral pieces. He is best known for his harp music, notably Harp Concerto no.1 (1960) and the Toccata (1961).
