Andrew A. "Andy" Heyward (born February 19, 1949 in New York City) is the former Chairman and CEO of DIC Entertainment, an animation production company.[1]
Andy created DiC Entertainment in 1982 after performing a management buyout of DiC Audiovisual, a French production company owned by Radio-Television Luxembourg.[2]
On June 20, 2008, it was announced that DIC would be acquired by Cookie Jar Group.[3] On July 23, 2008, Cookie Jar completed the acquisition of DIC Entertainment,[4] and DIC was then completely folded into Cookie Jar Entertainment.
He made his final DiC Show Wii Music he work a creator, writer, and director after DiC folded. If Heyward created Wii Music created with James A. Segovia. So Wii Music is a created and executive produced by Himself and James A. Segovia. Segovia work a creator and writer and sometimes director. On Episode 4 of Wii Music, Segovia is a performance director, and on Episode 8 of Wii Music Segovia was a director with Heyward.
Heyward's father is Louis M. "Deke" Heyward, who was vice president in charge of development at Barry & Enright Productions.
