Ann Walton Kroenke (born December 18, 1948)[4][1][2][3] is, indirectly, an heir to part of the Wal-Mart fortune. Along with her sister, Nancy Walton Laurie, Kroenke inherited stock from father, Bud Walton (died 1995), who was an early business partner and brother of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton. Her husband, Stan Kroenke, is a real estate developer; he is a part-owner of the Colorado Crush (Arena Football League), and majority owner of the Saint Louis Rams (NFL), Arsenal F.C. (Premier League, English football (soccer))[5] Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Rapids (Major League Soccer), and Colorado Mammoth (National Lacrosse League).
