Anna Kisselgoff
Kisselgoff, Anna (b Paris, 12 Jan. 1938). US dance writer. She studied ballet with V. Belova and J. Yazvinsky and was educated at Bryn Mawr College, the Sorbonne, and Columbia University. She has been dance critic and reporter for the New York Times since 1968 and its principal critic since 1977. She has taught at Yale and Barnard College and was appointed Knight of the Dannebrog (1986) and Chevalier des Arts et Letters (1990).
