Antenna hopping is a feature in which the Tx/Rx is passed through all the available antenna paths in a sector. No frequency is changed during antenna hopping. This helps improve performance by providing spatial diversity.

In antenna hopping the transmit antenna is changed during the interleaving period resulting in an increased channel diversity which can be converted into a performance gain through the channel coding.

From reading the audiforums it seems the antenna booster (or diversity box as Audi calls it) is under the trim piece at the top of the rear window. You have to *PULL* the trim piece off to find it.

it is applied at receiving end of antenna for reducing interference.it uses selective combiners to combine two corerelated signals
