Anthony Harvey (born 3 June 1931) is a British filmmaker who started his career in the 1950s as a film editor, and moved into directing in the mid 1960s.[1] Harvey has fifteen film credits as an editor, and he has directed thirteen films.[2] The second film that Harvey directed, The Lion in Winter (1968), earned him a Directors Guild of America Award and a nomination for the Academy Award for Directing.
