Abel, Antoine (b. 1934). One of the few writers from the Seychelles publishing in French, Abel has written three collections of fabulous tales in the form of prose poems: Coco sec (1969), Une tortue se rappelle (1977), Contes et poémes des Seychelles (1977). He has also published a collection of poems, Paille en queue (1969).
