Plato, one of Socrates' most famous students, was greatly influenced by his teachings and incorporated many of Socrates' ideas into his own philosophical works. Other notable figures influenced by Socrates include Aristotle and Xenophon.

Some famous Epicureans include Plato, Aristippus, Democritus, and obviously Epicurus himself. Many more can be found online by searching for them, but really, Epicurus is the most important one.

After Socrates' death, his student Plato founded the Academy in Athens, where he continued his philosophical teachings. Socrates' ideas and methods were also carried on by other students, such as Xenophon and Aristippus, contributing to the development of different schools of philosophy in ancient Greece.
