USACE

An organization of the U.S. Army, headquartered in Washington, D.C., with approximately 34, 600 civilian and 650 military men and women, responsible for providing responsive engineering services, including the planning, design, construction, and operation of water resources and other civil works projects; designing and managing the construction of military facilities for the Army and the Air Force; and providing design and construction management support for other Defense and federal agencies.
