Unique number assigned to each tract of land by the tax assessor . The APN can be used within an assessor’s records to identify the land and view a plat , if one exists.


Example: When visiting the Alpha County tax assessor’s Web site, the investigator was able to find details about the property quickly after submitting the assessor parcel number.
