Association of MBAs

AMBA, the Association of MBAs, is a UK based organization that accredits graduate business programs of international business schools. It is similar to the AACSB in the U.S. and EQUIS in Europe, but accredits specific postgraduate programs rather than entire schools.

AMBA accredits schools that offer Master of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), and Master of Business and Management (MBM) degrees. MBA, DBA and MBM programmes at 139 business schools in 66 countries are accredited by AMBA. Some of these schools have obtained EQUIS and/or AACSB accreditation in recognition of their overall outstanding performance.
