A place between Hazar Addar and the Brook of Egypt. It lay along the southern border of Judah (Num 34:4-5). It is referred to as Heshmon in a list of border cities of the tribe of Judah (Josh 15:27). A possible location is at "Ain el-Qoseimeh" near Kadesh Barnea.
