It was mostly found in Jōmon, Yayoi, Kofun, Asuka, Nara, Chūgū-ji, Miyabi and Azuchi-Momoyama

Himeji Castle is a hilltop, Azuchi-Momoyama style castle, and is 152 feet tall. The castle was expanded three times after it was originally built, and is current undergoing some restoration work to preserve it.
