A training workshop, titled "Holistic Marketing Paradigm" (How to compete & win in the marketplace) was held at both campuses (Karachi and Islamabad) of Bahria University. Professor Philip Kotler, the world's leading and most distinguished marketing Guru addressed the top Corporate Executives in the Pakistani Markets.

This was the first time that Professor Kotler addressed Pakistan's marketing community, live via video conferencing from Florida, USA simultaneously in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Furthermore, special arrangements were made to relay the workshop via satellite decoders to leading business schools to reach out to approximately 200,000 business students all over Pakistan. Thus the event turned out to be the biggest ever in terms of both the distinguished speaker as well as the target audience of over 200,000 persons.

In order to make the workshop relevant and result oriented for both sponsors as well as participants, a content module was devised where Professor Kotler quoted examples of successful national and multinational brands operating in Pakistan. The discussion helped providing a great opportunity for building credibility and appreciation of their performances and plans.
