Barana is a town and union council of Chiniot tehsil in Jhang District, Punjab province, Pakistan[1]. It lies at the boundary with Sargodha District, the town is situated in Bhatiore region, thus is chiefly governed by Bhatti tribe. This town is also a part of Kirana Bar area.
