Barbara Dane (born 1927) is an American folk, blues, and jazz singer.

Esteemed jazz critic Leonard Feather praised Dane, who was one of Joan Baez' favorite performers. Mary Travers sounded very similar to the influential Dane, whom Albert Grossman initially considered for the female slot in the trio that became Peter, Paul and Mary. Dane was the first American performer to play in Cuba after Castro's revolution. Dane sang, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, portions of 3 songs in an episode of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour called "Captive Audience" (original air date: Oct. 18, 1962).

Dane was married for a time to the folk singer Rolf Cahn. Their son, Jessee Cahn, also became a folk musician.
