Bendix Corporation was created in 1924.

Bendix is a brand name. The Bendix Corporation manufactured many items for automotive and other industries from 1924 to 1983.

The Bendix Corporation manufactured brake shoes and systems as well as aircraft brakes and avionics. it has since been absorbed by the Knorr-Bremse group in a large scale merger.
