has past and past participle forms bet and betted; both are correct although bet is preferable, and is more common in British English and (even more) in American English. But betted is also found
(I'd have betted you wouldn't be much good at taking somebody out—Kingsley Amis, 1988).
When a sum of money is specified, only bet is possible (He bet me £50 he would win).
