Egypt is home to many mountains, but the most famous mountain is doubtlessly Mount Sinai in the the Sinai peninsula. Mount Sinai is believed to be one possible location for the biblical Mount Sinai and as such is a holy site for the abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
