the order Rodentia. They are small, hopping, desert dwelling
rodents found in Asia and Northern Africa, and most closely
resemble mice. Rabbits belong to the genus Sylvilagus, which
belongs to the order Lagomorph. Contrary to popular belief, rabbits
are not rodents.
