"Blaze of Glory" is a song by Jon Bon Jovi which hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990, his only chart-topper away from his band Bon Jovi.
History
The song also went to number one in Australia for six weeks. The song peaked at number two in the UK. The song is a crowd favourite with Bon Jovi fans, even though the song wasn't released as one of his band's singles.
The song was also notable for the performance of rock legend Jeff Beck on guitar.
Appearances
It first appeared in the motion picture Young Guns II, for which it was originally recorded. It later appeared as the title track on his solo album Blaze of Glory.
