Let's double that: Here are SIX major theories about JFK's assassination on November 22nd, 1963. They are only theories, and are mixtures, it must be said, of undeniable truths,educated suppositions, and urban legends.

1). JFK-- and the whole Kennedy clan--- were hated by Texas senator and Presidential hopeful Lyndon Baines Johnson and by some hardcore rednecky-but-oil-rich Texans, because he was everything they weren't: handsome, young, upper-class, suave, Roman catholic, Harvard-educated and, it was perceived, wildly popular with younger America... coasting through the American political process on camera-ready good looks and charisma alone.... and surely bound to wrest the Presidency away from more seasoned, but less charismatic veterans like Nixon... and LBJ himself. Allegedly, LBJ and cronies, secretly convening at Austin's Driskill Hotel in February 1963, organized the assassination for when JFK would, vulnerably, come down to their Texas turf in November.

2). In order to help his son win the 1960 election, manipulative patriarch Joseph Kennedy secretly paid the white-hot showbiz troupe "The Rat Pack" (Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, Shirley Maclaine) megabucks to use their showbiz visibility and connections to increase JFK's attractiveness. This the Rat Pack faithfully did, with carefully orchestrated song and dance and comedy routines praising Kennedy to the skies, seen on prime-time TV and heard on radio all across the USA, that were immensely entertaining to the American populace, and greatly increased JFK's popularity as a presidential candidate. When Jack and Jackie Kennedy did make it into The White House, The Rat Pack, (especially Frank Sinatra, who had very close connections to the Italian-American Mafia) expected some payback. Sinatra famously invited Jack & Jackie Kennedy to come out West and stay at his sprawling, ultrachic Palm Springs ranch house, called Cal-Neva... Sinatra spent many thousands getting his house looking fabulous for them, even installing a heliport. But-- to his great surprise-- Jack & Jackie snubbed the invitation. The White House evasively claimed that Cal-Neva would simply be impossible to protect by the Secret Service, but Frank Sinatra took it much more personally than that: Maybe these snooty, uppity Kennedys just didn't want to be seen socializing with a self-made Italian boy from the slums of Hoboken. Feeling badly stung, publically embarrassed and betrayed-- with the Kennedys having bitten the hand that once fed them--- Sinatra allegedly ordered his Mafia connections to snuff out JFK.

3.) Kennedy's reign was during the height of the "Cold War" with the Soviet Union. In those days, Russia was sending arms to America's southern neighbor, Cuba. It was widely believed that Russia's premiere, Nikita Khrushchev, using Cuba as a base, was preparing to attack the USA with nuclear missiles. Getting rid of the US President was part of this mission (it has been suggested), and Russia used a brainwashed patsy, former Marine sharpshoooter Lee Harvey Oswald--- who had already defected to Russia, embraced socialism, vociferously denounced the USA, and married a Russian girl--- as their "Manchurian Candidate" assassin of the President.

4). Kennedy's sexual appetites were huge. Though married to Jackie, he nonetheless entertained an endless stream of willing females, including movie stars Marilyn Monroe, Eartha Kitt, Gene Tierney, Marlene Dietrich and Angie Dickinson, exotic dancer Blaze Starr, beautiful Mafia gun-molls, young 19-yr-old White House interns, nicknamed "Fiddle" and "Faddle" by the Secret Service, who would bring the girls daily into the Oval Office for sex, nude swim parties (and also allegedly marijuana, cocaine and LSD experimentation... drugs and Hollywood starlets courtesy of Rat Pack-er, Peter Lawford). JFK's younger brother, Bobby, apparently partook of all the sexual hijinks, too. Poor Jackie Kennedy, it is said, even contracted gonorrhea from her own husband, who'd caught it from some infected partner of his. JFK bragged to his buddies: "I'm not finished with a girl 'til I've had her... three ways." 1963 America was a very different place than it is today: the sex and drugs partying was deliberately shielded from the American public by the Washington newsmedia; unlike Clinton's Presidency, all immoral hijinx was hush-hushed by JFK's paparazzi. As the story goes, CIA leader J. Edgar Hoover, a closeted homosexual/cross-dresser himself, was publically a bluenosed, zealous prude of the highest order. Allegedly, Hoover kept a running account of all of JFK's sexy escapades with his spies and surveillance, including obtaining a secret B&W film of a nude Marilyn Monroe performing oral sex on the President in the White House. Nowadays, celebs release underground porno films to a jaded American public all the time, but in 1963, such a scorcher of a film, released to the public (shown on the walls of sleazy strip-clubs and traded amongst cynical hipsters) would have been DEVASTATING to the Kennedy regime-- and worldwide, to America's new post-WWII reputation as the shining defenders of world democracy. Combine this with the true fact that, in his last year of life, President Kennedy was heavily medicated for his severe muscle pains, souvenirs of his oft-vaunted WWII naval heroism: the constantly anaesthetized JFK could barely stand up for newsreel shoots and publicity photo ops, and was increasingly falling asleep at Cabinet meetings of the gravest importance. Long story short? The CIA deemed JFK unfit to continue on as President.... and had him "neutralized" by superbly trained Marine snipers, including Lee Harvey Oswald. (Allegedly, movie star Marilyn Monroe was also neutralized by the CIA. During her sexual trysts with Bobby Kennedy, the relaxed Senator would confide in her lots of top-secret government information... including what the government knew about real UFO's and inimical "greys" from foreign galaxies. Unbeknownst to him, Marilyn was jotting all this information down in her "Little Red" journal. When Bobby, seeking more and more political visibility, suddenly spurned her on the advice of his PR men, Marilyn was heartbroken, and bitterly announced that she was going to reveal the contents of her Little Red Book to the paparazzi. She never got the chance: CIA agents broke into her Hollywood home and administered to her a barbiturates-laced injection--- or enema, depending on which story you read-- which silenced her on August 5th, 1962).

5). JFK and his brother Bobby Kennedy had decided to make a big political platform out of the Italian-American Mafia, and how they were going to, for the good of the country, get rid of the Mob... especially in Las Vegas, where the Mob controlled prostitution, drugs, horses and gambling trafficking. In every public speech, Bobby Kennedy would vow his plan to eradicate the Mob families--- the Lucchese's, Gambino's, Bonnano's, Colombo's and Genovese families. This infuriated the Mob, especially since RFK and JFK's dad, Joe Kennedy, had been a bigtime alcohol bootlegger (that's "organized crime" by any definition) during the Great Depression... and also because one of their own, Sam Giancana, had secretly been a social friend and associate of JFK's. At one point, Giancana and JFK were sexually sharing the same girl, Judith Campbell Exner, a pretty brunette. With the Kennedy family smearing them publically, the Cosa Nostra vowed revenge. Mafia bosses in New Orleans set up a plan to have JFK bumped-off when he came down south... to Dallas. Some say that it was likewise the Mob that snuffed out Bobby Kennedy in 1968... and even sabotaged John-John Kennedy's airplane in 1999.

6). Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, fabulously wealthy, lover of sybaritic luxury, and well-connected in both high society and low, eyed hungrily the lovely, gracious Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy in her White House perch. What a coup she would make as his own dazzling consort! He began to woo her with secret gifts of flowers, jewelry, couture, objets d'art. Allegedly, as Jackie increasingly became aware of her husband's incurable philandering, she vowed to do some philandering of her own: She secretly began dating Ari Onassis whilst still married to JFK.... and ended up falling for the wealthy Greek. What would it take, Onassis asked her, to get Jackie to marry him? Jackie, disgusted with her husband's sordid infidelities, volunteered an idea...
