Veterinary Dictionary:

borogluconate

A substance whose calcium salt is used in the treatment of milk fever in cows, hypocalcemia in ewes and eclampsia in the bitch. It has the virtue of being nonirritant and can be administered subcutaneously as well as intravenously.
